Can someone share his/her experience staying in a reasonably priced hotel in Lahore? I will be visiting Lahore for sight-seeing and would like to stay in a hotel. Any suggestions please?
Plus, what is one signle most important must-do in Lahore?

Amer Hotel; standard double room Rs 2000; bargain and they’ll lower it even further!
the hotel is alright & saaf suthra and is in lower mall!

during my visit; i popped into ‘Avari Hotel’; its Beautiful and Grand; InshaAllah my next visit’s stay would be Avari :love: i believe its rates are higher than PC; one of the restuarants in there charged Rs 570 per head!

I am no expert in hotels in Lahore since a lot of my relatives have houses (in Lahore) that are way better than Hotels so I just stay with them. As for the must-do, there are more than one but you must, you must try eating @ Food Street at night time with friends/family. You’ll enjoy it. Also try Coco’s Den Restaurant too. I heard it is really good. 
There are more must-do’s but for now, this should do it in Food Category.

Most hotels are located in Lakshmi area or Mall. ATleast don't go to National hotel, its very poor, though they charge 1500/day in winter and likely much more in summer. The hotel adjacent to it, i forgot the name is reasonable. Alos on lower mall there was one, again forgot the name, just adjacent to Pizza Hut on Mall Road, was quite reasonable and charged 800Rs/day.
