^ it worked out to be around £30 a night (approx. 4000 PAK) but you can get a discount if you go there in person and happen to speak to one of the mgrs who are always standing near reception. They offered the first few nights at 3500 rupees.
We stayed for just over a week and I have to say I would definitely go back next time I'm in Lahore.
Both Sunfort and Best Western in Lahore are pretty decent ones(both are in liberty market)...i am not sure about the price ranges but they are located in the middle of the city so thats one good thing...
there are also a few in Gulberg...sorry not sure of the names...but they are across ghalib market in lahore when you would go towards Cantt/Fortress stadium....
i know a few families who stayed there when they were visiting Lahore from the US....and they liked it....
Try leaders inn in lahore and regent plaza in karachi (5500 a night good room, only disadvantage their food) As for guest houses there are many in islamabad but not much in lhr or khi
