Hot Yoga

Re: Hot Yoga

its the same as any other workout. maybe 1% further weight loss achevied by your body over producing sweat. no real significant gain over a normal workout.

Re: Hot Yoga

Well I didn’t go because I was afraid of the temperatures :bummer:. Also I read that it can cause kidney stones..I had a horrible one last year, and now that I’m prone to having them, I should avoid anything that could cause them…

Re: Hot Yoga

kidney stones are caused by concentration of urine, which I guess would tie into dehydration.

Re: Hot Yoga

So that makes sense then :(

Re: Hot Yoga

If you hydrate then how can it be a problem?

Re: Hot Yoga

If you're losing more than you're drinking...

Re: Hot Yoga

Keep it simple - plan for long term - dont go for the quick turnaround 4 month 20 lb deals - have a sustained approach - consistency is the key - fitness is life long commitment - not to be approached in 4-month spurts.

And above all, do as I say, not as I do.

Re: Hot Yoga

Hey, if celebs can do it in 4 months, then gupship aunties better be able to do it as well! :)
