hot wax reheat problem

i am a wax virgin.
after reading reviews here i bought veet strips but it removed 3-5 hairs in one go. :frowning: plus it was so painful.i cannot tolerate the pain again for the same area.

now i want to buy hot wax.but i will have to reheat it after 5-10 min. at the beginning i don’t want to buy a heater.may be after some time when i become use to it.

**is there is any other way that make it remain hot for 30 plus mins?

**i hope i will get my answer here.

Re: hot wax reheat problem

the sally hansen wax warmer is not too expensive in comparison. It comes with one jar of wax too.
Amazon.com: Sally Hansen Simple Spa Wax Warmer Kit, for Face & Body: Health & Personal Care

If you still do not want to try that, I have also used a cheap candle warmer I bought from walmart and a $1 small candle votive holder from dollar store. Heat the wax, transfer it into the votive holder and use it with candle warmer.

Re: hot wax reheat problem

thanks for this idea.

Re: hot wax reheat problem

Heat it in a pot of water and dont take it out of the water, if you let it sit in the hot water while you use it it won't get cold so fast, it stays hot-to warm enough to use for about half an hour depending on the weather ofcourse.

Re: hot wax reheat problem

^ The trick is to keep the skin taut. I am afraid cold wax would not work on underarms.
