What hot sauces do you guys use to spice up your soups and stuff?
I’m liking this El Yucateco, Hot Sauce: Salsa Picante de Chile Habenero a lot! It isn’t light and vinegary like Tobasco, or sugary. It’s thickish and you need a few drops.
I also like Huy Fong, Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce. Amazing stuff!
hmmm normally I just buy any hot sauce (since its for hubby and not me), but I’ve been having Maggi’s chilli garlic sauce the last few weeks…love it! (but that’s not hot suace right? )
i used to buy alot of hot sauce, mainly encona, tabasco, and peri style sauce but lately i have replaces with plain chopped chillies, fresh jalopenos, scotch bonnet i find give the best flavours and scotch bonnet is really hot like i like. Also these no salt and no vinagar whcih is important for daily use.
in an emergance ill use encona sqeezy bottle hot sauce. it has 60% chillies no sugar some salt. or tobasco (did u try the green tobasco? made with jalopenos)
if you check the labels and one of the first ingediants is sugar, salt and water your wating your money. sometimes the chillie content is less than 10% is just sugar salt water and red coloring with 10% actual chillies.
I never buy a sauce with sugar in it unless its thai sweet sauce, again encona one is nice with garlic.
The peri style sauces are nice too ie nandos style.
