I need help in finding good candidates for the following positions
COBOL Developer
Duties:
- COBOL development from specifications using MicroFocus Cobol running in a Linux environment.
*Test and debug applications.
*Maintains mission-critical application as required.
*Actively participates in requirements, design, code, and system test case reviews as required.
**Education and Experience: **
*Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or
*equivalent.
*Experience with COBOL and JCL in a mainframe environment is required.
*Experience with MicroFocus COBOL is preferred.
*Ability to efficiently communicate in both a written and verbal context with internal and external constituents is required.
**2. COBOL DEVELOPER II (4 positions) **
*Cobol required
*JCL required
*SAS Preferred
*Changeman Preferred
*At least 4 years Mainframe development experience required
Both positions are contract base, and are with the same client for a minimum of 6 months. No layers in between. Direct and top priority clients. Rates are negotiationable.
