**Six people have been taken hostage at a supermarket in the suburbs of Paris, according to French news reports.**Police said a gang of men attacked the Lidl discount store in Sevran, north of the capital, at around 0800 (0600 GMT).
“They are still inside. The police are here and have surrounded the building,” the mayor of Sevran, Stephane Gatignon, told the AFP news agency.
The news website 20minutes.fr reported that one hostage - a woman - had been released, but this was not confirmed.
