I’m about to pop my baby in less than 8 weeks! alhumdillah and need to pack my hospital bag, since I’m a FTM, can you guys advise me what to absolutely keep in my hospital bag? thanks!

Depends on where you live and which hospital
Granny underwear - big, comfortable undies basically.
Change of clothes for urself
Baby's take home outfit - if ur in the US or Canada, the hospital provides diapers etc. The bag will mostly have stuff for u
Breast pads
Nipple cream (Lanolin)
Travel size toiletries - again, depends on hospital. Mine provided a small bag of these that contained shampoo/conditioner/toothbrush/toothpaste/body wash, i know my cousin in Canada and she got nothing ... makeup too if u want.
Giant pads
Phone/laptop charger - both our phones died like 20 mins after i delivered, i have dark blurry pics of my son from those first moments

I'd take my toiletries for sure...lots of conditioner. I still remember the knots in my hair after bed rest was over...horrible horrible horrible.
Makeup...the pictures happen whether you're ready or not so be ready.
Disposable underwear.

Not a mum, but maybe these will help:
A charged camera to take pics and videos for memories
Moisturizer
A nice top, earrings, makeup (to look good when visitors come)
A sweet thing (can't remember if its dates or honey) to put in baby's mouth after birth (as per sunnah)
A hair brush/satin bonnet (i remember visiting one of my mom's friends and she had to cut off her hair 8+ inches in the hospital bed after her delivery, due to knots and tangles I believe, so best to keep it tidy and protected)
Surah Yasin, and other duas during delivery, this is the time that Allah listens!
It's smart to plan for leaving the hospital too:
comfy shoes
comfy pair of clothing
an extra large bag for gifts

I took nothing because my babies were 3 months early and i didn't pack a bag. However, I had to ask my family to bring me some snacks, makeup, hairbrush, loose clothes, flip flops, phone + charger, and my tooth brush. everything else the hospital provided
