Horsetail extract and hair loss

Ok whose used this?

I have heard from someone that if you take this in tablet form it causes regrowth of hair. I know quite a few people who are experiencing hair loss, so would like to know if anyone has used this and if it works…or if they know anyone who has used it and it worked.

Thanks

Re: Horsetail extract and hair loss

regrowth of hair?.. Hmm the idea is all good. But dont u think it will increase the growth at other body parts where hair is unwanted?

no its supposed to stimulate growth on the head only..

come on someone must have used it???

Re: Horsetail extract and hair loss

those tablets sound pretty gross. lol. never heard of them though.

take folic tablets for hair loss and eat lots of fruit/ vegs cut down on sugar, sweets, fried food etc and drink water.

skin, hair and body will be so healthy in few weeks.

personally i wouldnt use something that is intended for horses!!! but whatever … people do all kinds of things … :chai:

saw this vdo as well on GS somewhere today …

Re: Horsetail extract and hair loss

it is not really for horses...trust me

Horsetail is a non-flowering, fern-like plant whose name derives from its stalky appearance in the spring (feathery branches appear in the summer). The whole plants or the stems of horsetail have been used since ancient times as an oral and topical remedy. It is also known as scouring rush and bottle brush, from a traditional use of the abrasive stems to scrub utensils and pots. Horsetail has been called a botanical relic, as abundant growths of huge, tree-like plants in the horsetail family grew in the early dinosaur age, over 200 million years ago. With the exception of one genus (including horsetail and a few other species) these ancient plants didn’t survive, except indirectly-they powered the Industrial Revolution by being transformed into coal. Horsetail can now be found in temperate parts of the Northern Hemisphere around the world, in some places considered an invasive weed

Re: Horsetail extract and hair loss

TabuB, I read on makeupalley.com that horsetail silica doesn't suit everyone. For those who are allergic to it or for those it doesn't work as well as it does for others should go for Biosil. Below is the main link to the review of something that's called nioxin recharging complex. You can read through the reviews and in one of those, someone has made reference to Biotin and Biosil that are supplements that are helpful in regrowth or regeneration of hair. Also benefits skin and nails.
