Anyone here a hardcore fan of horror movies? I need flicks to scare the living feces out of me, and can’t really find any because most are just gore-fests (it is kind of fun to watch, though).

Anyone? Even if you aren’t a hardcore fan, just suggest any below.

The best of course is the "The Exorcist" and then "The Blair Witch Project" (if you are immune to the to the fact that it was all trolled fiction, lol)

Paranormal Activity scared the bajeezus out of me...the first one and third ones were the best IMO

The Nightmare on Elm Street series is also classic, there is the added psychological twist with the story line about how Freddy Kreuger came to be

Another oldie is The Entity starring Barabara Hershey, she's stalked by a demon...

The Amyityville Horror is another classic

Can't think of any more good recent horror movies..I prefer the oldies :D

I've seen most of those movies, except The Entity. I'll try to check that out.
I've heard some pretty negative reviews about the Blair Witch Project, so I'm trying to figure out whether I should watch it or not.

Horror Movies Anyone?

The Blair Witch Project was really, really hyped up by an amazing media blitz, so it left the movie goer wondering "Wth, was that true or not?!?" At the time, it was really scary, but if I were to watch it again now, I'd probably be "meh".

If you haven't seen it,watch it with a open mind like you haven't read or heard anything about it.

There's one my husband watched but I was too scared to see it...he was praising it a lot. It's called "Sinister".

I really enjoyed watching "The Last Exorcism". **"Pan's Labyrinth" **was good too.

Case 39 was good too..though the concept was same ol' same ol'.

There's another one set in a mental hospital with a mad doctor...can't recall the name.

What about The Grudge…for me that was scarier…I remember watching it with a friend…and both of us had pillows so we could hide our faces in it :cb:

im mashhoor by my family ‘psycho’ as im a hardcore horror flicks/novels/books/games/tv fan… my wardrobe and my style defines it all :x2:

nah…:hmmm: that was Shutter Island. The one I’m talking about came out in late 90s early 2000s.

Insidious is a good horror movie too

Blowed my brain away in one to scenes lol
