As in they are not man enough to deal with their problems and they will stoop down to levels unheard of just to get back at the girl who they once claimed to have feelings for.

If a man is having a relationship with a woman and promises to marry her; then one day, he informs her that he has succumbed to family pressure and feels obliged to marry someone else, does the woman have a right to warn his relatives or the girl he intends to marry that he's not the right guy? I have a disconcerting desire to treat women as I'd like to treat men. She should keep silent, right?
