I wanted to share my dream and see if anyone knows what it means?
I recently saw my little brother drowning and dying, the next day I saw that he is dying and we are doing what we can to save him but he’s dead. When we give up all of a sudden he breathes a little so he’s alive but his face is distorted and someone says he’s a bit scary to look at from the face but I don’t think he’s scary to look at though he does have something odd about his face (not sure how that happened in the dream). After a day my brother comes to me and tells me that he had a horrible dream about himself where he saw himself dead under a car tire and he said it felt so real that he got up in the middle of the night and was a bit scared.
I didn’t tell him about my dreams because I don’t want him to freak out but it’s scary for me too and I haven’t been able to sleep properly after that. My heart has this unsettling feeling too since then. We’re going to go to a Mosque today and give Zakat from his hands but does anyone here know what it means? Or if it means anything?

I recently saw my little brother drowning and dying, the next day I saw that he is dying and we are doing what we can to save him but he's dead. Don't worry too much about it. Death in dream does not mean death in real life. It usually means a change or transition. Have it interpreted by someone knowledgeable. Mufti Salejee ( alhaadi.org.za ) and Mufti Hoosen Elias ( alislam.co.za ) both do it. Maybe you can submit your question to them.
I usually do a quick on check on myislamicdream, but not sure how reliable it is. For serious ones, I always get it interpreted by the ulema.
1) Death has so many interpretations, but a common one is that it's a dream of opposites...meaning that the person who died in the dream will have a long life. Other examples of opposites are that laughing in a dream denotes sorrow, etc etc.
2) I do not know how authentic this is, but it's said to only share your dreams with those you trust because if someone gives you a negative/incorrect interpretation of a dream...then that is the one it will follow. This is what I've heard, again not sure if it's true.
3) I recently heard of the idea of family members touching gosht with their hand before distributing it...which is similar to having your brother give zakat with bis hands. I don't know how valid this is. Zakat is a farz, obligation...something one has to do. I don't know if it would be more appropriate to give sadaqah for the dream instead as that's what I've commonly heard.
4) Maybe it'll bring some comfort if you pray 2 rakat nafal and ask Allah that if the dream Has a bad interpretation...to avert it from you in real life and to keep your family safe.
5) Dreams can sometimes be from shaitan and just our mind's ramblings when we're asleep. You and brother can recite the adhkaar for protection before sleeping.
zakaat [poor-due] is farz. i think you meant Sadaqaat [alms].
jaan kaa sadqa maal...[yeh kahaavat hai] is liye sadaqa dijiiye.
dreams don't always mean it's real. you can't do much about it...may be it's an indication for you and your brother to become more religious [practical]...may be you should start praying regularly and be a good Muslim...you can't go wrong by being a practicing Muslim [if you aren't already]. this will help you.

From what I have heard, death in dream indicates the long life of the person you see dead.
Also, it has been said not to share the dreams with anyone (but only someone wiser), online here a lot of people who read the posts and you never know, who gives what taa'beer, so please next time you make sure you don't share the dreams.
Dont worry at all...just give sadaqah...qouting hadees for your knowledge..may allah protect you and your brother Ameen
It was reported that Abu Qutaadah said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Good dreams come from Allaah and bad dreams come from the Shaytaan. If any one of you sees a bad dream which makes him afraid, let him spit drily to his left and seek refuge with Allaah from its evil, then it will not harm him.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3118; Muslim, 2261).
It was reported from Jaabir that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If any one of you sees a dream that he dislikes, let him spit drily to his left three time, and seek refuge with Allaah from the Shaytaan three times, and change the side on which he was sleeping.” (narrated by Muslim, 2262)
It was reported that Abu Hurayrah said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘If any one of you sees something that he dislikes (in a dream), let him get up and pray, and not tell people about it.’” (narrated by Muslim, 2263)
recite azkar before sleeping..ayat ul kursi, last two ayat of surah al baqarah and mauz tain(surah falaq & surah nas)
Few days before ramzan I read some research so I like to share.
We dream all most whole night, i think, most of them senseless weird stuff. Many theories but no one knows certainly know why.
Lucky us, by the morning we forget all most all of it. UNLESS we are waken in middle of the night.
When they did this experiment, they wake up subjects with intervals of 2-3-5 hrs(some thing like that)
Subjects then remember what they were seeing in dream, which other wise they would have forgotten.
Now in ramzan, we have our sleep disturbed. I almost every day, have the strangest-est-est dream when I wake up with alarm at sehry.
We also know dreams are connected with uneasiness of body as well. So do the math.
Not usual food + waken up in the middle + sleeping light after = we get access to worst dreams.
i also want to share my dream. and i m curious to know about its meaning. If anyone gets any idea after reading it, please share.
i saw this dream a week or a two before ramzan. i saw a white pant in which there is yellow sand and black insects are coming out of it. Not like an army of insects but some insects were there.
here i would like to share one thing that i was doing a wazeefa in those days but i had to stop it because i was told that i'm not doing the wazeefa in the correct way.
Do you think it can b an indication for that wazeefa? if yes, then is it good or bad?
Please help :(
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislike, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape."
[Sahih Bukhari]
What to do if you get a bad dream
It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“If anyone of you has a bad dream, he should not tell people about how Satan played with him in his dream.”
[Sunan Ibn Majah]
If you tell someone a bad dream and it is interpreted it will occur as said
It was narrated from Abu Razin that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say:
“Dreams are attached to the foot of a bird* until they are interpreted, then when they are interpreted they come to pass.” He said: “And dreams are one of the forty-six parts of prophecy.” He (the narrator) said: “And I think he said: ‘(A person) should not tell them except to one whom he loves or one who is wise.’”
