Pretty rich coming from someone like you! Weren’t you the one who couple of days back preaching how democracy is in the ‘mindset’ and we need to change that mindset? Now you are suddenly questioning ‘perceptions’, really? Well then, how will ordinary Pakistani change the mindset leadership should come from democratic leaders, when it’s only their army chief who comes forward to provide leadership and takes tough decisions when the going gets tough? Well done to Pakistan army for once again proving how it’s the only institution Pakistan can reply upon from rescuing people in natural disasters to taking control of law and order situation.

You might want to read my posts more carefully next time, before giving in to the itch of replying. I was talking about intelligentsia, not mindset. When educated people start professing army take a role in civilian matters, they are abdicating their responsibility of building the institutions necessary for a successful democracy. You on the other hand claimed that the ‘system’ itself is corrupt. Well, to me, you are part of that ‘system’. Either you help make it better, or delegate it to army at the first sign of trouble, it is upto you. Am glad there are many others who dont want the whole damn kitchen to be built before buying a decent knife.

I don’t know about America nor do I care. But as far as I know, for the whole world, Bush was an absolute scumbag and far more evil than NS can be. So I guess him not even visiting the site highlights his priorities and agenda was something else.

when peshawar massacre happened, PTI supporters right away started to cry that no one shd name PTI or shame taliban khan for supporting taliban one way or the other as it was a national tragedy (and rightly so)…what happened now?
