as for my evidence, the representatives of Ataturk (from his Young Turks nationalist movement) selected four to issue a fatwa to the sultan of the time (sultan abdul hameed) even though the fatwa was rejected by the shura and the head of shura...
As the four people (chosen by the movement for this specific task) entered his office, they found him (sultan abdul hameed) standing calmly, Aref Hikmat read the Fatwa to him, then As'ad Tobatani came forward and said "The nation has removed you from your office.", Abdul Hameed became angry and said
"The nation has removed me from my office, that is okay ... but why did you bring the Jew to the Quarters of the Khilafa?" and he pointed to Qrasow (the jew). Obviously that was the point of payback, Abdul Hameed rejected selling Palestine to the Jews, and now they show him that they were a part of his removal.

His face also reminds me of deep sadness, bordering on despair perhaps hopelessness. i don't know. His brother (whose picture he is holding) was a member of Islamic Jihad, i think, and blew himself up on a bus two or three weeks ago. his father gave his life for what? a better bright future / a humiliating dark future for palestinians? i only know one thing, if i were going through these situations, i would have done the same thing. 50+ years have past, discussions and dislogues have yeild nothing for common people on either side of the boundry. leaders have made careers out of these people's miseries, have got medals, praises, nobel prize and what not but for these common people, situation has gone bad to worse. they say a picture is worth thousand words but these thousand words to let to the viewer. the situation in picture might not worth a single letter for the one who went through that situation. we are living in a world where we want to experience everything second hand through the eyes and ears of others.
