janawar you cant beauty of things in this world with hte beauty and taste of things in janah in janah by every passing minute there beauty and taste increases butt things in this life dont have great taste and also they are not permanent and how many these rich people have peace at their heart how many of these dont need sleeping pills to sleep in jannah your nafs will be satisfied and nafs gets satisfied with these things and finally i forgot to write in the previous point that best thing in JANNAH will be that we will be able to see ALLAH and his beauty

Janawar many things which are Haram for us in this world will be made halal for us in JANNAH thats the reward for controlling your Nafs in this World so in result in Jannah your Nafs is completely staisfied which also includes 72 unimaginably beautifull women

But what about some luckless guys that worked hard for things in this world and dont want hoors and all that fancy stuff in heaven...?
In fact Koran and hadeeth mention some lucky guys who get nothing but the chance to jump about in fire and steel without being affected... I would love to be in that number... :)

wouldnt that be hell? before going to jannah everyone drinks this special brew so you just forget everything, the concept of jannah is like endure the hardship of this world to get the rewards, some1 mentioned that if you work hard you get rewarded, looks to me like a holo fantasy, get in there and enjoy, maybe we go on the higher plane of existence, and forget the material things, isnt jannat 7 floors or layers, maybe its all metaphysical

im not making fun of the quran but really its like this is the only reason these guys want to go to heaven. there way of encouraging the believers? What about all the other stuff? Apparently us women of earth (who end up in heaven) will look alot better than the hoors.

Again in my opinion a hoor is not a girl or woman. Although she might look like human female but she is not a complete woman.

Can she reproduce ? I dont think her DNA is designed for that task.

I dont think anyone can honestly answer your question, we just know what is told in the Quran and ahadeeth.There no specific mention of what kind of being a Hoor is nor the male companions in Jannah

I doubt that the physical features of hoor are uniform, e.g my white friend likes skinny blonde tanned look with green eyes

for me I wud prefer fair, obese, dark haired ones.I wud be sorely disappointed if there are tanned skinny Hoors !

our perceptions are not important nor is the concept of Hoors totally original to Quran, ever heard of Valhalla ? the Nordic paradise where the dead warriors are accompanied by valkyries or amazonian beautiful women

^ Then how is being in jannah any different or better than say Zardari’s current life? If it is all about some exotic stuff that you can eat, a luxurious cush place and a bunch of hot women. I mean any billionaire today is pretty much living the jannah then, with all those luxuries and the quality of all the tail they get you and I can only imagine. That all can’t be what jannah is about man It has got to be something way better and way different from all this stuff.

For one Jannah has no fatigue - in every pleasure in this world there is associated with it fatigue, after the high there is a low. Not so in Jannah. There is nothing blameworthy or sinful in Jannah.

Someone once asked me how I could rationalise or explain the idea of “no boredom in paradise” so I explained to him that he needs to think of the most euphoric time that he has had in this life, the greatest high. Now in that moment does he worry or think about anything other than that feeling? Is there a concept of time or worry or boredom? So … I said … think as if that feeling is being sustained continuously, then how can boredom set in to a mind/soul that is occupied constantly in high?

Jannah is far better than any place we can imagine on Earth, but we can indeed rationalise to some extent what it will be like. This life has limits and restrictions - going to the toilet and gravity are but two of these. Not so in Jannah. Just imagine how amazing life would be if we never went to the toilet yet the sense of gratification that we feel after going still remained with us.

cody you have too much time at your hands. You can ponder on better topics and come up with real world solutions for real world like global warming , green energy , hunger , sickness , poverty , and illiteracy.

I would like to learn more about this creature mentioned in other religions.

I quite agree here that hoor is mostly a pleasure toy for both men and women. Not what we used to think that hoor is probably a very beautiful women. The idea is mis-judgement and gullible perception in my opinion and we need to rectify our understanding in this regard.

I think there will be hoors for both men and women, otherwise those poor girls that passed away before marriage would be left to roam around heaven devoid of intimate pleasures.
I've always wondered what happens if a women re-marries after her 1st husband has passed will she then have 2 husbands in heaven!
I've already banned my husband from playing with the hoors in heaven lol

I had read somewhere that no jealousy will exist in jannah but won't it when the hoor's will say we have not been touched by man nor jinn won't the wife get jealous? so the women will be with that husband who treated his wife kindly in this world. Banning ur Husband is good mine said If I ban him or try to stop him he'd rather be thrown back in hell and hang out with all the bollywood and lollywood hottie's.

It was a joke when I said this to him, we laughed it wasn't taken seriously. I'm not banning my husband from playing with hoors. To be honest I'm not worried the wives are supposed to be so much prettier then hoors anyway.
