CL - Taking the Test Status back and leaving the Cricket Development in Bangladesh on its own is the Easy way out for ICC. The right way is to help Bangladesh build a proper domestic structure.

The only problem with this picture is that even ordinary players will be able to make world records. The previous world record holders achieved their feats against quality oppositions. I think its unfair to the previous world record holders. Now if Ricky Ponting or Steve Waugh score 385 and break Lara's record would you really consider that a bigger accomplishmement then Lara's. Bangladesh have not yet dispalyed any maturity even in ODI's let alone Test cricket. I am not saying take the test status back from every team that lost a match within two days but alteast all these other teams have the potential and have shown that they are capable of playing better cricket, so far Bangladesh has not shown any signs of improvement. ICC should really reconsider Bangladesh's test status.

UMAIR, good post man.

Is there a smiley that shows someone running with tail between their leg. :(

:hehe: :hehe:

Oh I thought you were talking about last 15 matches.

So Umair316 trusts rediff.com now, but he will not believe ICC :hehe:

Lets take Pakistan’s test status also because they also lost a TEST within 2 days :rotfl:

So LahoriMunda - players should be allowed to break world records in ODIs but not in TESTS ?

Where did I say that?

While we are at it, lets also take India’s test status away for not winning a test series abroad for 18 years  Regardless of consisting some of the best batsmen of all time in those span of 18 years, (Sachin, Gavaskar, Dravid)
While Pakistan lost one test match to Australia in 2 days with the most experinced batsman in the team Younis Khan and followed by Faisal Iqbal, Imran Nazir, Taufeeq Umar.
Without the services of Pakistan’s top 3 batsman Youhana, Inzimam, Saeed.
Good job! :k: :k:

Test cricket needs a lot more temprament and skills. Its Test cricket that shows how talented a side is, I am not saying you dont need to be talented to have a good ODI side but in one days you can get away with a lot of things. Everyone is heard saying the good team on the day won. Well in tests you dont need one good day you either need five good days from your team or 5 bad ones from the opponenets. If Australia becomes over confident they might loose a one day but in tests they will have time recover back and thrash Bangladesh. As far as my personal opinion is concerned I dont think Bangladesh is good enough to play test or one days at this time. They are a cricket crazy nation but sadly they never learned how to play it.

Just to show you how bad this Bangali team is.
They have lost 40 straight matches since 1999 WC, last defeating Pakistan.
Since then, they have lost to Canadad, Kenya - non test playing nations.

Its not just about their record but looking at their players, they don't have a single class player in their team.
Sri Lanka had the likes of Ranatunga in their early days, Zimbabwe had Flower brothers, Houghton and Streak.
Bangladesh's best batsman is an 18 year old name Muhammad Asharful, and he too will find a hard time making into Pakistan or India A teams if he was from Pak or India.

I knew you would come back with that LIE. Now next post you are going to change that ** ‘AWAY’ to ‘OUT OF SUBCONTINENT’** because India has won atleast 3 away series in last 18 years :hehe:.

But yes on that logic - Let’s take away TEST status from India also. So, So far we have 3 countries - India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Let’s add few more countries and finish the TEST Cricket.

Excuse, Excuse, Excuse ?? So According to you it’s okay for Pakistani Youngsters to lose a TEST match in 2 days but not okay for bangladeshis to do it ??

Asif_k ki muhabet mein app itna badal gayay woh bhi itni jaldi?

When you guys get done with (fat chance, though!) this India Pakistan muhim, can we please get back to bashing the Bangladeshis and the Australian cricket teams again? Thanks.

But the problem is Bangladeshi so called youngsters have lost 18 staright while Pakistan lost to Aus only with some good performance on the first test.
Anyways, its useless arguing with you, I proved you wrong again.
Hasta La Vista!

Yeah like you proved my Wrong on Afridi Next Richards :hehe:

Faisal Ji,

I SECOND you wholeheartedly.

Have a Nice Day

Asif I really don't know what is the argument about? Bangladesh is the weakest nation to have ever been given test status and the fact is that every team that's lined up to play them expects to give them a hard spanking.

I don't know if you're a Bengali, but whether you are or you aren't isn't really here or there poor teams need and deserved to be demolished unceremoniously for their own good. No offence.
