You do realize by that same token red meat, Monsanto GMO food products, exercise, milk etc could be considered harmful for your body when reading the appropriate verse. Over indulgence in red meat leads to heart conditions, uric acid and what not. So by your comments we shouldn’t even have a steak every now and then.

Balance is the key to life. That includes when reading and interpreting verses of the Quran.

Except tobacco has no benefits, is addictive, and only causes harm to your body. It’s worse than alcohol, just look at the number of people it kills every year: more than any other drug combined. Justify your behaviour however you want.
