Really honor or is it one of the best tool waderra’s & jageerdar’s use to hide thier own sins? Killings on any other dispute (Land/money) can also be named Honor killing.
Or if it really is an honor, can someone please explain it to me what honor does a Killing a human soul brings ?

If Someone Kill His Sister/daughter/wife for having Najaiz Taluqaat to some other Guy.....
And he kills bote Guy and gal..

If.. someones Daughter/sister run away with someone ... They Kill both for HONOUR....
NOW.. this thing is Used in diff ways by diff ppl.. some ppl do it actualy and some ppl use it in a FAKE way... :)

Tell me honestly what is the ratio of the Actual Honor killings according to ur definition?? maybe 1 or 2 in 100
Even if it is an honor killing according to ur defination…what honor does it bring by killing a human soul ?
maybe they think k unke aane waali naslon ko unke kartoot pata nahi chalenge…they certainly think there will be no living proof of their “kaale dhanday”…

I don't know which era and which area you lived in. But when I was in Pakistan most of the "honor" killings involved killing of both, and many of them were for "revenge" or "property" related. They'll kill the wanted man and grab a lady from own house (daughter or whoever) and shoot her and then claim that they were indulged in illicit relations.
Sometimes when a female member is killed, its because they wanted her to marry a man of their choice while she married/wanted to marry man of her choice.

OKie.. So.. AS per the RULES in NWFP.. I dont know abt the rest Pakistan... HONOUR KILLING maiN.. BOTH the male and female are killed... I know lots of ppl who are killed for this..

The ratio as per my assumtions … Based on NWFP, I cant say anythign abt all the Pakistan bcoz I dont know ..
So.. In NWFP… If Any member of the family is Killed for HONOUR .. tou uss ko Taanay.. sunnay paRtay haiN for the rest of the life.. PPl curse the whole family for this.. Khanddan pooora ka pooora bad naaam ho jaata hay… Even.. If a gal is killed for Honour.. and she has Sisters or even cousins.. Ppl dont marry them as well.. So.. just imagine .. how deep trouble is this for a family…
So… 95% of ppl who kill their Daughter , sister.. or watever for Honour will have to go through all these problems..
So.. The HOnour Killing … as per my defination.. 90 to 95 % is not Fake … may be 5 or 10% fake ho… as I said in my early post to MADHAANI… I belong to an area where it is folowed.. so I know wat it meanz…
Now.. Wat honour does it bring to kill a human soul… Tou.. as per the rules of the Society… agar.. Kissi Family maiN.. this thing happen.. Ke koi kissi ke saath bhaag jaye.. or someone found them in QABIL-e-Aitraz situation… TOu.. All the village come to know abt it… and.. Then the Rule of the society is.. Family Head will have to kill both of them… Not only Male or not only female to fulfil the Law of the Society.
Even after the fulfilment.. The Family is still in trouble and ppl dont trust those familes..
If they Dont Do it… They cannot live there .. they will have to leave the village.. they will have to leave all their belongins.. theie land.. everything… and.. Here ppl can Kill their Lovedones for The Land of their forefather and Honour..
