That is such a sad story.. her sister was recently in the news as well, seems like there is a lot of messed up stuff going on in that family:
I remember hearing on the news a few years back that Shafilea had swallowed bleach in Pakistan and run away from home more than once back in the UK.. think how desperate she must have been 
Apart from the parents and older family members taking part in honour killings it always shocks me when I hear that sometimes the girls’ brothers are also involved despite often being in relationships or just sleeping around themselves..
