I have a question I would like to ask every Muslim Man one day in a great gathering, but I begin here first.
We heard and hear alot about Honor Killing which are falsely - in my eyes and opinion - associated with teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Muhammad Mustafa (saw). This so called Honor Killings feed the slasher with what they want: More critic against Islam.
This is why I want to know only if woman display the Honor of a Family? Honor Killings are linked to the Situation that a sister from a certain family someday meets up with a man, be it her boyfriend or just for earning money (i.e. Prostitutes) and does things she shouldn’t. Her brother gets the Mission from the High Council to eliminate her sister as she has done dirt to her family and decreased their position or taken all the position they once had (if they had any).
What is with a Man? Doesn’t he display the Honor of a Family. We cannot only suggest, but we also know that we alot of so called Muslim man who have girlfriends and do that dirty action every single day without being questioned. Is this fair?
My next question would be how can people justify such killings whereas they know that their own sons aren’t better. Why not punishment for both? Why only women? This is the reason why alot of are against Islam. There are alot of examples here in Germany, in Europe and throughout the World. In Norway the pakistani lady Shabana Rahman wanted to burn the Qur’an once. Doesn’t matter if her intention was a different one. That is a No Go. YOu cannot blame Qur’an for the actions of desperate and crazy Mullah.
The we have the somalian-dutch Ayaan Hirsi Ali who is also against Islam and welcomes any effort taken against Islam. In Germany we have Necla Kelek, a turkish lady who became german and believes all the fairytales told by magicians, slashers and what not.

those men are idiots and suffer from low self esteem i guess but looking at them its no surprise.
its not just that, but its also things like parading women naked as some deranged morons have done on occasions as revenge.
women seem to bear the brunt of psychos, rapes during wars for example. dont see many female soldiers raping males but vice versa we have heard about in pretty much any war.
I guess thats were the feminists are right, males in general are much more violent, and much of their violence is directed towards women, seen in different ways in pretty much any culture that I have observed.

Nothing is wrong with Islam. Its just that 95% of its followers are barbarians with primitive cultures. As Ironclast said, it's the culture.
Islam has declared death the punishment for killing another person. And that's it. According to Islam, if you kill to restore honor, then you forfeit your right to live.

It's digusting and especially sad that even some of our own mothers have the pathetic attitude that 'boys will be boys' and the so-called 'honour' of the family rests on the girls' actions..

You cannot blame Mullahs iether, please use this word with caution. Its not learned scholars (the phrase that describes Mulla) but jahil japats who do honor killings.

IMHO, Honor killing has nothing to do with Islam.... its a cultural practice and mostly happens over land disputes/to keeps land in the family, or for taking revenge for some puraani dushmani, etc.
I view honor killing along the same lines of Quran marriages (where females are married to the Quran, Nauzubillah).

It has nothing to do with Islam nor it has anything to do with Scholors/Mullahs. This is normally done by jahils on the back of wadaira/chadhries.
We (people living in west) should be vocal about it that Honor Killing has nothing to do with Islam and Shariyah as media these days is trying to associate it. I never hesitate to call in Radio shows on any such discussion to clear the air.

^^Exactly, it IS normally done by jahils on the back of wadairas, and they use women as women are expandable for them, shaadi nahin karaani parray gi aur viraasat mein hissa nahin daina parray ga ...... ek teer sai do shikaar.

who is to blame then? Mullah in Western means radical muslim preacher! You know that and I know that. Let us take the example from Iran. Why do they want to stone the woman and not the man? Both were involved if they were involved in something like that. Is iran unlettered? Is Iran ignorant? From where does this ignorance come?

You can say here 10000 times no to them, they will still not change their minds. What you gonna do? Call a Radio Show and correct it? How many listened to the show while you spoke? The billions who have the negative views against Islam? Probably not!

Its better to speak out and attempt to clear people's misconceptions about Islam than stay quiet.... if I manage to change even just one person's view and thinking, I would consider it totally worth it.

When these opinions were being formed...they didnt just form on one bright day by the act of one person. It took time and several examples as well as tons of media. Their minds will not change overnight and if you expect that, its unreasonable.
What Decent is talking about is 1000% true! Every act counts! Let's go with what you say and assume he had just ONE listener...that ONE listener just MIGHT have changed their mind. Even if its a remote possibility, its worth it. I dont see how you can expect the world to just paint pretty pictures of Islam without putting in any work to paint that picture yourself.

How many of you did convince the western people that such acts have nothing to do with Islam or are you busy with your Life & Relationship?
Im not an example at all...by ANY means but small things help quite a bit. If your child goes to public school then volunteering there or anywhere for that matter...organizing a charity...creating awareness of what is going on...these things go a long way.
You may think its not much BUT in a small way...you just normalized the image of a Muslim from some radical into just another human being.
Every little bit helps. Your actions speak much louder than words.

My first action was to join a political party here in Germany. Insha'Allah you will read, listen and see the actions I'm planning. I'm not expecting people to change their minds over night. Again I've been misunderstood or I was not clear enough. I thought people can follow and imagine what I say. I will paint that beautiful picture of Islam insha'Allah. May Allah strenghten me in my belief and in the actions I'm planning. They only need to be executed. With the grace and love of Allah we can do it.
