**Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post newspaper has apologised for describing Chinese President Hu Jintao as jailed dissident Hu Jia.**Its Tuesday edition put the wrong name under a front-page photo of Mr Jintao attending a nuclear summit in the US.
“The South China Morning Post sincerely apologises for the Chinese name translation error,” the newspaper wrote on its front page on wednesday.
Copies of the paper sold in Beijing had the mistake blacked out.
Hu Jia, 36, one of China’s best-known activists, was arrested in in 2007 and is serving a jail sentence for sedition.
