Are any of u going away after your wedding? If so, where?
Im having quite a lavish honeymoon, maldives + dubai.. 2 weeks away. Cant wait, esp as our accommodation is amazing. Costing an arm & a leg but oh well, im sure it’l be worth it!
Sooooooo im very curious to know, where u guys of to?? (not sure if people in Pak go anywer so even if its a local break do tell)
**akh12 **thats an awesome multicentre! Ive been on lots of holidays where in the maldives/dubai are you going/staying? Maldives is beautiful. There are some resorts to stay clear of which are full of kiddies and cheap entertainment though!
Because me and hubs have already done maldives I think we will be doing Los Angeles and Hawaii.... I'm addicted to Lost so he has told me he will take me to the Lost Island....!!
I would love to go some place where you can explore and see things rather than just sit around, say by the water and tan. I'd go to Paris, some Greek island or even Tokyo. I plan on having an adventure! You can be romantic anywhere. Oh and I also want to go skydiving + bungee jumping on my honeymoon.
Yep! Maldives for pure relaxation and dubai for the FOOD! (been dubai 3 times but fiance never been before, he gonna love it) We were gonna go maldives + singapore/malaysia but then ended up with Dubai.
Maldives we are staying at W Retreat W Retreat and Spa Maldives
Check it out, its gorgeeeee! Cant wait. I did intensive research on all the villas and this was my fave, was on tripsadvisor reading all the reviews and this seemed like the best option. PLUS they have a no kids policy lol.
Dubai we havent booked anything yet but maybe ‘Raffles’ im thinkin.. Any suggestions?
We’r looking to explore the US at some point too.. Ur gonna love it!

I think thats why a multi centre is quite good, u can get best of both worlds. Straight after the wedding relax by the beach and then go somewhere bit more adventurous ;)
Bro got married abt a month ago and also went maldives and dubai lol..seems like its becoming the norm to do these tw countries together..he stayed at the hilton resort....and it was supposed to be lovely...looked gorgeous in the pics...he was there for 7 nights and only comment he had was that during the evenings theres not much to do so you kinda get bored so maybe 4 nights would have been sufficient....whereas in Dubai..well u can never get bored can u ;)
Ankh WOW I am a bit o a holiday junkie and Ive looked into W Retreat alot.... I am so jealous! That is one of the most amazing resorts in Maldives! Are you transferring via sea plane or speed boat? Id highly recommend sea plane at least on your way there because you will be shattered from the flight and they're speed boats are hardly "speedy" lol.
In regards to Dubai do you want to keep it strictly city fun as you will get the beach thing in Maldives? Jumeriah beach hotels are considerably more expensive than the ones on Sheikh Zayed Road. I quite like Four Points By Sheikh Zayed Road.... nice city views... good location and it wont burn a hole in your pocket :)

California is gorgeous... you are gonna love it!

Tokyo is my first choice for the honeymoon destination!!!

It is and thats why it was our chosen resort! I wanted something bit mre exclusive and beautiful.. ahhhhh just want time 2 pass quickly now he he
U only get a seaplane transfer, they dont do speedboat, so that'l be very cool. I can imagine the views to be amazing!
Hmm yeh i dont want a beach hotel cos we'l have plenty of that in Maldives.. I will look into that, another 1 i am considering is kempinski cos it has a shoppin mall right next door ;)
Desi Beautii me and hubs REALLY REALLY want to move out to Cali in a few years but the DAMN US regulations are so tough... not sure how to get around it :(
I would love to live in California... but its expensive... also it has a high rate of earthquakes, lastly they say it will be knocked off the US and sink into the sea eventually.
It's a gorgeous place to visit, but the thought of living there scares me. :(
Awww I am absolutely DYING to go to the Maldives!! Thats what we had planned from the begining but then as the months went by we realized we wouldn't have enough time in only one week to really spend enough time there! Traveling from the States would be much of a hassle with only a week for the honeymoon.
So hubby and I are going to Barbados in the Caribbean! Its only a few hours away from IL, giving us all the more time to relax and wind down from all of the wedding madness! I can't wait!! Its going to be my first island destination spot!!...and apparently our room comes with our very own balcony pool with a view to ocean beach!! ;) Ahh, so much fun!!

Hi Sana congrats on your engagement! Me and my partner were born and live in London but at some point in the future (5 years or so) we really want to settle in the states.
With our savings we could just about afford a nice house but nothing compared to a detached 6 bedroom house with pool in the states for half the price!
