There is a lot to do and see in France other than “just the Eiffel Tower” which is in Paris (not the only city in the country)
It depends on your interests…why don’t your try googling some travel websites and do some reading/research to figure out what interests you
Re: honeymoon in france
^ good advice!
anywhere you go, don't just visit the monuments the place is famous for! you'll never learn what the country is about that way. go and explore it.
Re: honeymoon in france
The french countryside is suppose to be beautiful!
Re: honeymoon in france
don't forget to try french wine! ;)
Re: honeymoon in france
wendy, the french countryside is gorgeous! the south of france is different from the north, its so beautiful, and there's so much to see and do! i'm still reeling from the eiffel tower comment above lol.
Re: honeymoon in france
the eiffel tower is overrated. there's loads to be seen in Paris (i live there), depending on what you like : museums including the louvres, a few castles in the suburbs (Versailles is a must!) shopping: avenue champs elysees, La defense, and boulevard Haussman, Disney land Paris etc...
Re: honeymoon in france

Re: honeymoon in france
Giverney--Monet's Gardens
Paris Opera House
Louvre Museum
Musee de Orsay
Versailles Palace
Loire Valley-Sleeping Beauty Castle as well as many other beautiful castles
Arc de Trioumphe
Notre Dame Cathedral
Paris Mosque
L'Orangerie gardens and museum
its a never ending list....
Re: honeymoon in france
Eiffel Tower doesn't define France. Nor does it define Paris, actually. You get the real vibe and feel of Paris by just walking around the districts and hitting up the cafes, and oh the food! It's a beautiful city. Apart from that, like mentioned above...South of France is gorgeous! There's Montpellier, Monpazier...they all have their unique charm.
