driving across is kinda hectic and expensive but yeah is more fun. if had to do cross canada travelling i wud buy Canrail Pass for whatever duration and do it by train in confort N style :) Via Rail has some good value pass coupled with hotel. thats an option worth looking into.
btw, congratulations on ur wedding and i wish u a very happpy married life. ek khoobsoorat azdavaajii zindagii ke liye ham du'aago haiN k Allah aapkii deen dunyaa donoN sajaaye...aameen :)**
you could go to maldives, malaysia or other countries that don't require visas. i've heard of lots of pakistanis visiting thailand as well...just do a bit of research on your options.
Re: Honeymoon question
also you can try this website, you just have to enter your nationality, your destination and what countries you’ve visited in the past 6 months and it will tell you the visa info.

I definitely think Europe would be out of the question…getting the EU visa is difficult from what I’ve heard.

Honeymoon Dilemma
Hey guys,
Iam getting married InshAllah, next July in Pakistan however I am a little stuck in terms of how to organise my honeymoon. My fiance is from Canada and Iam from the UK and I want to go to Mauritius.
Does anyone know how that can be arranged in Pakistan? Are there any good travel agencies out there that can organise this trip? He has Canadian citizenship and I have British.
I can't organise the trip from England because we would have to get married in Pakistan, then fly back to England, then fly to Mauritius. That makes no sense.
Any help would be appreciated!
Hey sweety! Congrats on the upcoming shaadi! May Allah bless you with happiness, patience and all the success in the world.
Are you guys planning on flying to and from Paks for the honeymoon? To be honest, I would search online for deals, airlines and book etickets-no agent no hassle!
Re: Honeymoon Dilemma
^ yeah, i'd do that too! check expedia.ca and travelocity.ca.
i only use and prefer expedia because they have no flight booking fees.
you can also check airline websites like emirates.com, ba.com and etihad.com. most of them allow online booking. emirates and etihad in particular seem to be having great sales.
if you have not much to choose from when pakistan is your base (considering the political situation and all that), consider flying arabian air or one of the smaller airlines to dubai and leaving for your honeymoon from there. its about $200 for a roundtrip ticket, so one way should be cheaper, i'd think.
jet blue also flies between pakistan and dubai, i think... can someone confirm this?

There are many travel agents in pak but if u do not want to rely on them then u can try emirates airlines holiday packages. You can find details from their offices in pak or on their website. Just google it.
Try Air Blue.
Like I said, just search the internet, never underestimate the likes of lastminute.com
Where will you be in Pakistan?
I havent even thought about the honeymoon yet, considering that hubby-2-b is almost always flying for his work, he may just say, saath hi aajo! :(

Awww Thank you Hubnubs for the sweet blessings. May Allah give you a reward for that.
Yea, we are planning on flying from Pakistan, Islamabad to br precise. I have searched some online travel agents in Pakistan but they only go to the Far-East like Thai and Singapore which isn't my choice. Also, some Pakistani travel agents have a really bad track record of taking your money and running (well when it comes to organising Hajj and Umrah packages).
I will definitely try the idea of Emirates online. However, I dont know if they offer the whole honeymoon package you know. I think they only offer flights to Mauritius. But I want to book the whole 'experience' of the hotels and food plus decorations of the room etc. I really want it to be special :)

I think that flying to Dubai together and going from there to the honeymoon is a much better idea. My fiance has family in Abu-Dhabi so we can stop by and meet them as well. I went on the Emirates website and saw some good stuff but am concerned about the costs. Emirates are not cheap at all.
