Re: Honeymoon Dilemma :S
Yes trip advisor and agoda.com are helping me alot :)
Sheraton is in my list too, however, we prefer constance halaveli. do let me know if you acquire more info about maldives resorts. I'll definitely share more about maldives with you guys :)
Re: Honeymoon Dilemma :S
Then i would deffo do maldives and dubai, the most reccomended i came accross were vilamendhoo, sheraton, meeru island, kuruveda, have you checked tripadvisor.?? Its really great and you can see pictures that people who have visited have put up and not just the glossy ones we see in mags and on the net.!
Also the bride who mentioned bora bora.. Wow.! I enquired about it, its very very far to travel from the UK and most travel agents were quoting a minimum of 7-10k for a 7 night stay.! I saw it on the kardashians lol
My cousin stayed in the bora bora resort and spent 8-10 K on it so it's very expensive and explains why it's voted the number 1 resort in Maldives. She stayed in the villa huts on the beach literally on the ocean. Her pictures were amazing but even she said she got bored so I'm sure wherever you stay it will be nice i'a.
I agree TripAdvisor is the best for honest feedback and tips!

Re: Honeymoon Dilemma :S
Hi, im getting married in a few weeks and we hav booked meeru. Wer really lookin forward to it. What type of room did u stay in?
We booked a Jacuzzi Beach villa, although we hardly ever used the jacuzzi so maybe it was a bit of waste? I'd read reviews for this resort island a lot of them said they often overbook (I don't know if other islands in Maldives do this) and because they can't accomodate, they offer you alternatives and compensate you with spa vouchers/discounts on the island. As I was prepared for this I didn't kick up a fuss when they told us and was ready to bargain for all I could in return for 1 night downgrade :)
We spent 1 night in a garden villa I think it was, which wasn't too bad, but it made us appreciate the jacuzzi beach villa waaaay more, and I was happy to take a spa and restaurant voucher compensation cause it saved us loads and meant I had more spending money for the 2-night we spent in Dubai on the way home!
Re: Honeymoon Dilemma :S
Guys I want to know how many days will be enough for staying in resort without getting bored if you're not into water sports that much ? :S

Tbh maldives is one of those places where you can sit and do nothing and pure relaxation.. If you get bored easily just go for a few days? And save the hard work for dubai.? Wev gone for 10nights purely because my hubby will be having a whole month off work as he literally works 7 days a week so we want a nice break before coming bak to rainy england.! My hubbys sis went to maldives for 2 nights (she lives out in dubai so wasnt too far for them) and she said that was more then enough for her lol x

Lol true. Thank you hun :)
Do you mean Bora Bora as in the Tahiti island.? Or is there a actual resort in maldives called bora bora.?
The tahiti islands are even more expensive then the maldives but as its popularity increase the prices will become more reasonable to meet demand of a wider audience like the maldives x
