I didnt know whether to put this here or on the travel section…
I am planning a surprise Honeymoon for me and my fiance after we get married and I am planning to go from Pakistan (where the marriage will probably take place) to the Maldives via Dubai. I plan for us to stay in Dubai for about two nights before taking our flights to Maldives for the Honeymoon.
I know that in Pakistan, Murree is a big honeymoon destination… my question is, should we go there also? Is it a must for all newly weds to go there… is it that great? Any opinions on Muree would be great…
If its worth going, we’ll go there after coming back to Pakistan from the Maldives.
i dont think its a must... my parents did way back when, but i haven't heard of anyone since then going there for their hmoon. its supposed to be really pretty so i don't see why you shouldn't go there if you want to.
Yes, my fiance is Pakistani passport holder and so our “honeymoon” is limited to countries that pakis can travel visa free. Those are Dubai and Maldives and one or two other places, and this works out awesome for me, because these are places I wanted to go anyway.
go for Maledives! There is nothing like waking up with the ocean at your feet and fresh fruit on the table  And there is enough privacy for everything!
Have you considered how visa will work out for your husband to visit Dubai and Maldives? You have a British passport, and he has a Pakistani one. Two completely different situations.
i think after maldives and dubai, murree wont be all that exciting, if i were you i'd save it for 1st anniversary
congrats on the upcomming wedding by the way!

Yes I checked into this and Pakistani Citizens can get Visa on arrival to Maldives and the hotel/airline that we are using in Dubai will get his Visa.
