Lemon juice in hot water kickstarts your metabolism as well as having detoxing properties which is why it’s mostly effective taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. You’d still need to follow a healthy eating plan and combine it with exercise to see significant weight loss though.

Agree. I usually drink it after meal instead. I don’t understand the logic behind taking it on an empty stomach. Wouldn’t it become digested ,since there is no waste or detoxing properties in stomach at the time, before it processes?
