Honey...Sweety

Don’t you hate it when girls your age or around your age call you with such terms of endearment. I just feel like slapping them all. I don’t mind if gay guys do it.

Re: Honey...Sweety

Re: Honey...Sweety

There are two woman they call everyone sugar plum and sweet pea. While another older guy (our client) when ever you do anything he says I love you. Thats just too much because he said the same thing to our 70 yr old boss.

Re: Honey...Sweety

annoying.

Re: Honey…Sweety

you’ll usually hear an older lady (most likely a grandma) ..use words like love…‘could you do that for me please, love?’
..that don’t bother me..

but nia..guys doing that at work…with every sentence..uh uhh…

Re: Honey...Sweety

Using the word "Love" when informally addressing someone of the opposite is a very English thing to do. It's still extremely prevalent in England. My female primary school teachers used to do it all the time.

Re: Honey...Sweety

doesn't bother me...
unless some1 uses it wayyy too much

Re: Honey…Sweety

:confused:wow…strange english:bummer:

Re: Honey...Sweety

As I was born and raised in the uK. Love is a quite common term used in the north and middle england..

Where I live, you will here people calling you love, duck, chuck, darling, sweetheart..

I actually like it as it's friendly and endearing whereas further south .. ie london people are usually rude and cold..

Some of my australian colleagues use the love, chuck and darling lingo too

Re: Honey...Sweety

Mad scientist is right... you get used to the love word after a while. England mayn kick martay howay bhee aap ko love hee boltay hayn.

Re: Honey…Sweety

how romantic :stuck_out_tongue:

my female colleague at previous job used to call me SUGAR. :o. at first i thought she calls every1 SUGAR but later i was told i’m the only SUGAR there. rest are plain simple human beings :halo:

Re: Honey...Sweety

I call all my friends babe....even my mom at times

Re: Honey...Sweety

Who cares, just ignore it. Its not that big of a deal.

Re: Honey...Sweety

Re: Honey...Sweety
