There’s a lot of celebration in the air. Nawaz sharif will soon find out that the throne is not a bed of roses.
Some things of immediate concern:
-
economy: it needs to be seen how his government will manage the economy of the country. They need to raise taxes and maybe renegotiate with IMF and other financial organisations to raise finances and repaying debts. This could further increase the inflation in the country.
-
energy: punjab has voted for the party as they were successful in convincing people that the energy woes of the province was due to the federation. They’ll need funds to pay back the circular debt and starting new power projects (long term).
oye shabaz yaar bijli da kuch ker–log bohat pichey paey aaa
shbaz: hony turky phone kerdan jee
- external affairs: they’ll have to help the Americans leave Afghanistan as well as try to keep taleban at bay. It would be interesting to see Pakistans relationship with Afghanistan, India and America.
noora to amreeka-- Paa ji aa wiki leak ty band karo…
- internal affairs: lets see how they deal with the taleban issue, karachi and balochistan. Each is challenging in its own right.
Noora to taliban:: oo panjob wich bumb na chalo yaar.. oothy KPK wich hega na imran khan.. oothy khello
- health and education
Shabaz-- aba jee dy naa ty ek SKCH jeya hospital bana yaar… cahly na chaly.. baroon deken wich oho jia lag…
the people who have voted for the party have a lot of expectations from PMLN. If it does not deliver the
people will very quickly get disenchanted with them.
