She should already be standing next to his chair with a tray that has everything the man might need while he feasts. Why is there a need to ask.

Re: Honey…can you please pass me the salt?
Urdu, Sindhi and English… mostly Urdu actually.
Too many nicknames and they are personal ![]()
No kidding..
english.
this reminds me of a joke i once heard...
There were 3 couples eating breakfast together - an English Couple, an American Couple and a Pakistani couple.
The English husband asks his wife, "Can you pass the honey, Honey?" So she passes him the honey.
The American husband asks his wife, "Can you pass the sugar, Sugar?" So she passes him the sugar.
The Pakstani husband, who thought he was all that and then some, wanted to show off his Angrezi skills. So he asks his wife, "Pass the milk, you Cow!"
LOL - i laugh every time. lol.
LOLLLL....i just burst out laughing and now everyone at work knows i'm wasting time online reading jokes instead of doing real work :/
No kidding..

lol @ joke of afshi ![]()
Usually English, occassionally Urdu and French very rarely.
I’ll call her by name, but she won’t. We do use nicknames too.
Re: Honey...can you please pass me the salt?
Mostly English, very little Urdu.
We usually just use names. When being overly nice, I use this one word that I use for everyone when I am feeling lovey dovey, and a couple versions of his name. Nothing really goes with his name. For me, honey/sweety etc doesn't feel natural to say, so I don't.
When being overly nice, he calls me a version of my name.
Though, come to think of it, as much as I like the idea of "yaar, salt la do" with your spouse, I also think "Honey, pass the salt please" works to maintain that lovey-dovey feel without any extra work.
