true....the zamana is very haraab nowadays....shouldnt trust too many poeple on the net....can be very deceiving............but on the other hand......there are genuine people out there............how on Earth do u find them????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kurri, Thats one question that I ask myself again and again, but the problem is that half of the people on irc are lying and other half just wanna have good time and wont be there for ever.

Haha, U got me there. I was generalizing. I know that not all the irc people over there on internet at lier. But mostly here in ottawa, I have seen people who comes to the irc channels are just like in the picture above.
well! I don’t want to make generalisation either…but exceptions are always there. Yasin and Sherazz do have a very valid point here….cause I myself was on MIRC for a week then left it cause it is very mush frustrating dealing with most of the annoying people there…and most of the people are interested in above mentioned stuff…. BUT as I said exceptions are always there…….and I came across one….

So good and bad people are every where……..I just don’t understand that why it is considered morally right if people happen to meet each other on street or in some sort of a get-together….why not net…..I am not denying the fact that so much crap happens on net but then it happens on street and in social circles as well…one just have to be careful. I think it is high time that people should grow up and start taking responsibility for heir own character rather then people classifying them in different categories on the basis of their presence on streets and society or on net.

I agree with both point of view but I am sure we know who is genuine or who is not genuine by talking to them couple of times. God has given us sense and if we use it properly we know the facts. For the people they believe stronly that there is nobody telling the truth on the net then I will put my example forward. I met my wife on Internet that was in 1996 and that was in Islam Channel, we never lied to each other and that is a reason we are still together, so you may assume that it depends where u meet people as well, as generally in life it depends where u meet people. Ofcourse if you meeting people in pub not necessarily they will be the right kind of people for you, being a muslim ofcourse. At the end of the day I will say it all depends on your taqdir as well.

But I really think that here at gupshup anonymity is good. It helps one really see a person's character rather than looks. Do'nt you guys agree?
