Well being an American growing up here.. and back home from parents being a mahajar.. which are originally Indians who now live in Pakistan.. Karachi.. I would never take the job, maybe for a week just to live in INDIA for free.. But my skills and talents would be used in two countries my home USA or my Parents Home Pakistan.. lol..

Thanx alot for your honest replies.
I have been offered to work for a bank, from UK to work in Banglore to setup an Outsorcing office for them. I am only desiging, implementing & recruting some technicial staff there. also setting up Video confrecencing, banking system etc.
But condition is I will be travelling every two - 3 months for 2 weeks to check and update and possible to help and create an outsourcing for other banks as well.
It is a peremnant job offer.
It will help me to learn new technologies.
It will aslo help me to progress my carer.

I would only do it if it were to be for les than 3 years, and if I was being offered a very comfortable expatriate package for doing it.
One thing you may want to watch out for is desis resenting you for being a desi.
I worked for a while managing a couple of contractors from Hyderabad in India (from where my grandparents moved to Pakistan).
It was kind of hard for them to accept the situation - I looked just like them, my family was originally from the same city as them, I was younger than them and less well educated than them .... but I was giving them orders.
They kept questioning my instructions and double checking everything I said with white people.

yeah definately … but it would b very hard 2 survive there … u may got many friends but also some idiots … that exits every where …
staying there for more then 2-3month is hard .. its good 2 spend vacation .. or just a lil trip …

I will not by any means and any way I HATE RAMYA (she is an Indian). I live in New Zealand and there are heaps and heaps of Indian bitches and dogs in here which i don't like a bit so obviously i woudn't choose to work for NON-MUSLIMS that i hate more than pigs.
