Honest Nation

Most of us are honest in saying following

  1. Army is corrupt and running business empire

  2. Politicians Feudals or rich or Mullahs are corrupt.

  3. Government servants mostly considered corrupt from Police, Wapda, Customs etc

  4. Private and Public companies are ripping off people, tax evasion, again corrupt.,

  5. Youth is more interested in showing off new cars, mobiles or creating new bands or following blindly some one else creating sham culture.

  6. Wrokers are least honest in work unless forced and watched.

who is left honest then??

Few people who either didnt get chance or very few who want to stay away from this national norm and stay quite and suffer and wouldnt do anything to change.

Somthing that is being honest is blaming others which to some extent is true, but forget the blamer own honesty!!

How a great nation can be built when no one is paying attention to basic good values ie, honesty, hard work, helping others etc etc.

So are we progressing??

many questions come to mind about this nation… and its future.

Re: Honest Nation

Its true no one is honest its a delima to chose one over the other but then there is a saying “lesser of the two evils”

Re: Honest Nation

There is a culture of corruption in Pakistan. Its part of every day life.

Re: Honest Nation

Good thought Shak...
It all goes down to one thing; being honest with self and taking responsibility of one's own actions, correcting self and own evils before waging war against others and their evils. If only we could all correct and improve ourselves, each home, community, town, city, province, country would eventually be corrected and improved.

Re: Honest Nation

^^ you are right. it has to start from within.

I think our parents, schools, madrassahs, intitutions, are failed to inject these values in young minds and also its hard to find such living examples, ie honest leaders who can inspire and given vision to our youth to become honest and hard working.
