...well, on aspects touched on by faith, sure...now answer the question.

And it explains why one of such a faith would want to discount evidence that shows people are born gay, after all in essiance that discounts their faith.

Evidence? Last I recall an expierment with fruit flies recently conducted at the UofT was inconclusive, and the psycologists had no idear so they eventually voted on it. Last I checked, science was anything but a democracy (...'meritocracy' is more fitting).
An interesting aside, "homosexuals" were relieved as they really don't want homosexuality to be genetic...they fear it would lead to a wave of eugenics in the future.
Now, we claim to be constrainted by faith. You, who wants to stick with science and rationality, apparently have no constraints....so, er....please explain.
The act is ultimately all that one can condemn. It is a form of fornication.
As for entertaining such wants or desires as "normal" or "acceptable", I'm afraid that's a lossing battle as we're still not okay with heterosexual sex outside of certain restrictions.
I just keep thinking if I was in a world where the "normal" lifestyle was a homosexual one and I was the only heterosexual, I would definitely feel scared and alone and horrible because it's not something you can change.
I live in the west, more opportunity/temptation to say drink or commit other sinful acts as compared to someone living in Pakistan (sorry bad example) say Saudi Arabia. Now since I am more exposed to such an environment where these acts are not only allowed but to a certain extent encouraged, does it mean its ok for me to drink but not for someone living in Saudi Arabia??
Regardless of whether people are born gay or choose to be gay. Its prohibbited in islam and thats that. Even if they are born gay then maybe this is their test, and they will be rewarded or punished based on how well they performed in this test.
legallydesi, i think they were correct in kicking out. When you're on the "respect" committee, it doesnt mean that you can only "respect" people that you want to. I mean then how about putting a KKK whitey in the respect committee hunh, i mean sure the KKK guy likes helping out people but just doesnt "respect" non-whites.
