homosexuality.

Hmm... I've done some thinking about that..
We shouldn't punish others, I believe that others, in their actions, would punish themselves. The american government set up a system, and if you live in america, you agree with the system. If you do something (commonly known as breaking the law), you will pay XX amount of dollars. Basically, I could say that you would be doing that to pay money. It would not be a punishment, but because you do not want to pay the money, you wouldn't want to break the law.
Now about death... I don't believe in capital punishment, and I'll leave it at that.

Born Homosexual and Heritage?

I doubt that very much.

As a matter of fact, muslims believe that all children are born innocent.

Homosexuality is a sin in all three of the Mono Faiths. Therefore the notion of them being Homosexuals at birth as you have incorrectly stated, is flawed from the offset.

Islam never has, does or ever will condone homosexuality. Unfortunately for some, this is not acceptable or rational. But for Muslims this is perfect as the ruling has come from the 'Inventor' and not the 'end product user'.

Finally can you please confirm the current figure of Death Sentences carried out in Texas by the Government on Death Row?

Almost nobody killed by the government in USA, you say!

rvikz, if u r a hindu then can u tell me if hinduism allows gender benders.

There are christians that doubt people are born homosexual too (actually, most christians think that way). However, I believe that people can be born homosexual. There has even been sheep, dolphins and monkeys found homosexual, and scientists have a lot of evidence that people are born homosexual, and, if my memory is correct, it's a different variation of chemicals and such which determines if someone is hetero or homo. I believe that God does have a thing with homosexuals. Humans by nature are sinful. I am not homophobic as long as they dont start hitting on me, and I think that we should respect it if someone is homosexual because it's not very easy for them anyway. They are sinful, we are sinful too.
To your last comment- capital punishment is banned in a lot of states, and kept minimal in all the other states (let's keep Texas out of this, alright?)

Get a hold of a copy of the Noble Qur'aan and read the story of the Propeht Lut (Lot) AS and his people. This should answer most of your queries or concerns if you have any.

If you cannot find the Surah, please let me know so that I may post the relevant ayats for you.

serious flaw in this argument. how God has dealt with people in the past is totally His retribution..He is God. We are Not..

for what we have to do He has given us instructions...... as in 4:16

PA

The Qur'aan states:

Al-A'raf (The Heights) [7:80]
80. We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?

  1. "For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds."

  2. And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"

  3. But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind.

  4. And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!

The last sentence is sending us a reminder as to the severity of the sin. (just one example)

It's not asking us to hit them with meteors or kill them, but merely that it is not an accepted practice and was severely punished by Allah Himself.

Yes the punishment is stated in 4:16.

Maybe it was my fault for not making it clearer in my post.

You really need to do your homework!

The United States still practices the death penalty in all but 13 states.

From January 1977 to the end of 2002, 656 people (648 men and 8 women) have been put to death by lethal injection, 148 by electrocution (including 2 female), 11 by lethal gas, 3 hanged and 2 shot by firing squad.

More than half of the US’s post-1976 executions have taken place in the last five years.

As of 1st October 2002, a total of 3,699 inmates were on death row nationally, 3,643 men (including 83 juveniles) and 54 women. This is virtually unchanged since last year and reflects the effects of new death sentences, executions, commutations and death through natural causes of condemned prisoners. The average time on death row remains around 11 years although in some case prisoners have spent over 20 years on death row. Capital punishment is many states is in crisis as the courts become ever more mired in the appeals process.

Since 1608, according to research done by Watt Espy, some 19,365 people have been legally executed in the United States.

So why keep Texas out of it?

You have shares or something in the Texas State Penal System!

sholay, you really should read what I write! Did I say that the US doesn't practice the death penalty?

Just for the record, you stated:

In america, almost nobody is killed by the government. As you all know, the United States has one of the most supported government in the world.
