And it is only considered an insult because we perceive it to be negative. What if being gay was used in its original meaning? “Oh that guy is so gay and jolly. He has such a charming personality”. Would that be insulting? Nope.

The issue is the perception of the word and how we react. If someone called me gay I would have no problem with it because at the end of the day I do not see it as an insult.

thats what i said it depends on person to person. kuch loag aisi baatain mazaaq main accept ker lete hain kuch nahi kartey. what seems funny to u might not seem funny to someone else and vice versa :).

my suggestion is that if u have joked with someone about something and that person didnot like it then dont discuss it again with them (ofcourse i am not talking about small things)
