Homeopathy in the US?

Strictly from a business point of view, how is Homeopathy in the US even viable? Medical professionals, clinics and hospitals in the US spend big money on malpractice insurance. This is one reason going to the physician here in the US is so expensive, and complicated (tests for every little thing, and doctors never really making up their mind).

Does this mean homeopathic doctors in the US carry this coverage as well? I don’t believe homeopathy’s claim that their medicine doesn’t have any side effects.

I don’t see how these doctors would make any money. Health insurance usually doesn’t cover homeopathy, which means people are aware of the costs and will nickle and dime the doctors.

Re: Homeopathy in the US?

i dont think homeopathy is legal anywhere outside of the subcontinent these days. :hehe:

and for good reason too..

Re: Homeopathy in the US?

Homeopathy is not illegal in North America.

It is not much regulated, organized and is practiced by many different allied health professionals in USA…and Canada.
