some1 here who has made they own homemade wedding invitation cards???
im thinking to do it, but unsure abt is it a good idea or not???
i have been searching around and find some really cute unic and easy homemade wedding invitation
cards (^^) but before i desite i wana knw how many of u have made it or knw some1 who has made it?? (^^)
A very good idea to opt for :) but u have to go for the design that u may make in bulk like abt 200-300 as per ur guest list, and bring in teh uniformity among all at the same time
I think before you decide to make your own card you should keep in mind that you ll have to make a LOT of cards, and unless you have some experience in that kind of handiwork there is a chance they might not all come out looking the same or have that finish that professionally made cards have.
But if you really want to get your hands in it i would think doing the mehndi cards by yourself would be a better idea.you can follow the theme if you have one and do whatever you want with them :) assuming it will be all colors and glitter since its mehndi cards, you are likely to have more fun with them then the barat invitations :) have you decided on the colors and materials?
im sure its not going to be 200-300 wedding cards.. it will be around 100 or maybe less (^^) because i dont want a big wedding ceremony either do my parents ;D only family and really close friends will be invited xD
i really love to do handiwork (^^) its therefor im thinking to made my own wedding cards (^^) yess i have decided colours and materials im looking around to find everything in a good prize (^^)
Teri Nazar that is soooo cute :) and not entirely too hard to make since you mentioned you like doing crafty stuff. how are you going to go about it? if i am guessing right,u ll just have to draw the right sized and shaped butterfly on a piece of thick card and then trace that on the material you are going to use, hana?
My sis has made invitations for family weddings and I've helped her out from time to time. Even if you make a simple card, there will probably be lots of cutting, folding and glueing needed, so I would advise you get your family/friends involved (providing you trust that they will do it neatly!) and do it like a production line where each person has one "job"

thnkx for the info (^^) do u have a pic of it if u could share with me (^^)
What shade of pink are you going to use? lighter shades of pink have always seem too valima-esque to me idk why if i ever gather up the courage to do my own wedding invitations and i had to keep the barat invitation white, i ll go for a vibrant shade of pink.even though all pinks will look lovely with white
and i would LOVE to see the first draft
