We did centerpieces recently for a party we had.

We found a box full of vases off of craigslist - they were all different shapes and sizes. We went branch picking in a nearby forest preserve. We found thin branches that weren’t too rough looking and cut them into about the same length. Spray painted them gold and then hung paper flowers off of them with ribbons.

The result was fabulous!
