Homemade Vitamin C Serum, This Stuff Is Good!

was googling random stuff and came across a really good homemade serum recipe, been using it for a few weeks now so thought i’d share!

u can use it for pretty much anything, dry skin, brightening, to even out your skin tone, acne, scars etc it works differently for different people, but its worth a shot.

U need some rose water or distilled water, Vitamin C powder/ascorbic acid (available from all health food shops and online retailers like amazon & ebay, its quite cheap)

and some vegetable glycerine

mix them in the palm of your hand in equal quantities, using however much u need for ur face and neck. I make up a batch for about a week and store it in a amber glass bottle as the acid quickly goes off and the mixture goes brown u cannot store it for too long.

Apply before u go to sleep, it usually absorbs quite well, but sometimes leaves a grainy feeling, there are no reported side effects, a bit of redness when u first start using it but that is to be expected with the acid. I personally have had no issues, and its perfect for these harsh winters which wreak havoc with my skin!
