So i’ve been using witch hazel as a toner for the past few days and have been applying 100% TTO directly on my active breakouts. As i mentioned in my other post, I have hormonal breakouts. I have been researching other stuff that is great for acne and came across tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar.
So I am now thinking about making my own toner consisting of TTO + Witch hazel + apple cider vinegar + water and maaaaybe lemon juice as a toner.
Has anyone ever tried this combo or any other combo as a toner??
If so, what were the results and what were the measurements of each product. I’d love to hear about others experiences so please do share
I use pure rosewater in a spray bottle every now and then after washing my face, feels great and refreshing and as if its tightening up skin :)
Or yes lemon is a good idea too.. However if you have sensitive skin be wary of using too much on your face
Ooohh, I never thought about using rosewater as a toner...does your face feel dry/tight after spritzing your face with it? I've been using the witch hazel for the past few days and i feel that it is a bit drying, but do love the results so far alhumdulillah :)
that sounds like a lot of things that may dry your skin. perhaps add something that will moisturize in the toner itself or use a good moisturizer afterward.
Thank u for ur replies and suggestions, I really appreciate it :)
SO2 - i think you are right in saying that it will be too drying. Im just soo desperate to get rid of these horrible spots. But im liking the witch hazel for now, so will stick to it for a bit longer and see how i get on :)
