they surely can be made even cheaper than that, i am making the purple one, and very cheap since i am not using the pure fabric.
BUT... i think the ppl making replica's do deserve the price they charge... 1 for they use all the pure fabric, second, taking all the headache of bazaar, embroidery guy, dyer and then the tailor is something not every one is willing to go through, not even for their own dresses.
And from my last two visits to bazaar last week made me realize that every one has gone crazy, they just want to grab your wallet out of your bag end empty it before they throw it back to you.
the situation is as if the qayamat is coming and money is the sawab they need, so everyone is going crazy and to the kill or get killed level to get as much of the SAWAB as possible.

What 5k , r u mad. Kiss zamane me ho aap ??? aaj k mehnghai me only material will cost for around 4k, pure, and 2500 for non pure+ dying and stitching (aaj kal stitching cost is fall around 3k to 3500) and embroidery cost alag . phir bechere designer k khuari, petrol, designing and other head ache ko kyun bhool gaye. Thats the problem with ppl they want best but never gonna pay for that. Paisi kharach karna nahi cheez ghar beteh acch or sasti chahiye...
all the prices quoted above r veeeeeeeey reasonable. Kuddos to all designers !
PS: I used to b in this business lekin that mentality of ppl really pissed me off, now I buy from other designers' clothes and really acknowledge their efforts and hard work
