BOSE rocks

There is no comparison of BOSE when it comes to sound quality and for every thing you have a price to pay. If BOSE is not under your budget Sony is a good alternative as a middle end buy. Well it can’t beat BOSE but still it give good quality of sound.

:) jumping to conclusions a lille soon arent we ? :) Bose doesnt even come CLOSE to following in sound quality..

Integra Research DTR-9.1
Nakamichi AV-2 ( a lille old but it still Rocks )
Pioneer Elite VSX-49TX
Denon AVR-5803

even if you keep putting more names to the list you wont see any BOSE in there.. but oh no they have an extremely well ad compaign and that is enuff for the average person to fall in their trap.. :) .. speakers are a whole different ball game than recievers and the most you can say about their speakers is that its purely commercial sound that seriously lacks warmth .. :) definitely on any given day better picks anyday are ..

Pold Audio
Nakamichi Speakers (even though many dont even know they make speakers )
Acoustic Research is ok ..

Bose is in the list but all the way in the end .. so best compliment would be that its the worst of the best.. nothing more .. :)

I bought a Sony MHC-DP1000D in Dubai for about 1500 dirhams (approx. $410). Its brilliant. We got it around one and a half years back and no probs yet. It's got 3 cd changer, DVD/VCD/CD player with radio and double cassette deck. I would definitely recommend it!

Yup, the MHC-DP1000D is pretty neato.
