I have no idea where to post this, so i’m sticking it here.
This thread is aimed at the home owners and/ or anyone who knows what needs to be done in the event of a catastrophe.
For example, in the event of a hurricane, which causes damage to or loss of your home.
What needs to be done and how does it get done?
The basics I know are:
Contact local fire/ police/ rescue (if needed)
Contact insurance company and file a claim
Then what?
I hope no one has been through this, but if you have, please include your personal experience.
Re: Home Owners - What to do in the event of a catastrophe
Thats a very good question. I think once you call 911 you’ll get first-hand help that documents everything and the most important think is to contact your bank where your mortgage is. Most likely they have the insurance covered as well as in my case. But I know some people have seperate insurances so they have to contact them seperately.
I’ll ty google it for you and let you know but thats wut i can think of right now.
And its good to take help of our real estate specialist @khattichic here
