i have heard oatmeal and honey is a good homemade mask.
any other homemade natural skin care suggestions?
trying to avoid store bought skin care products as they contain lots of chemicals.
Re: home made masks and scrubs?
Aztec Indian Healing Clay: All natural. Mix with apple cider vinegar.
Apart from the above, good ole besan mixed with yogurt and haldi is also effective. And even just washing face with raw honey gives it a glow.

thanks redvelvet.
i have tried besan and yogurt mask in the past. but it just gets so messy and drips everywhere until it dries so i stopped using it.Also, it feels so cold on the face, its cold 8 months out of the 12 where I live unforuntately.
Re: home made masks and scrubs?
Try adding more besan so it's not as drippy/runny. Or less yogurt. If you go to a Vitamin Shoppe or Walgreens, you'll find Aztec healing clay. It's not drippy.

I don't know if this counts. But if you slather your face with olive oil and leave it for many hours then massage your face the blackheads easily slip out of the pores. Then after you wash your face with soap preferable olive oil soap or any mild face wash your skin will glow and your blackheads will be gone.

I would think so The olive oil is very close to your natural skin oil so won't irritate your skin it doesn't block your pores either, just wash your face with soap after applying the mask and you should be ok, i have never experienced trouble with it.
