Hello there,
I am a new member so I need some advice.
I ordered an outfit to wear to my cousin’s wedding from a home-based designer that got good reviews on gupshup.
I paid quite a bit of money for the outfit. The outfit arrived this week. Not only were the outfit colors and style totally different from what I ordered but the kaam was totally messed up.
While the home based designer has been really responsive (in general) she is ignoring my complaints. So far she has not given me any options.
I used moneygram for the money transfer so I can’t get teh money back…What should I do? I’m so upset about all this.
I haven’t mentioned her name thus far because I still want to give her more time to offer a solution (this all went happened this week). She is really active on gupshup forums and always offers her services.
What should I do??? Anyone have any advice? Thank you!!! Please post here…
Re: Home-based Designer Disaster
thats very sad, have you tried sending her a personal message via this page? Hope you get it sorted.
Re: Home-based Designer Disaster
Brummiebird,
I did send her several emails and she has responded but she does not want to do anything, unless I place a new order.
Here is the story:

Re: Home-based Designer Disaster
oooooo DONOT place a second order Hun! you need to get this sorted first!
Re: Home-based Designer Disaster
I definitely do not want to place a second order but she will not do anything unless I place a second order.
Re: Home-based Designer Disaster
I think this is disgraceful, the least a designer who wants to continue to get business from GS should have the decency to at least correct the mistake or refund. What the hell, how come you guys know all about how to "run a business selling clothes’ but not know a thing about how Customer service can make or break your so called business.
