Is Saudi arabia considered a holy country, I ran into a guy the other day, and he said something about Saudi Arabia Sharif. It was the sharif part that got me. I know Mecca and Medina but didnt know the whole country will be holy. Please Opine

Verzai - Of course Saudi Arabia is holy. Where a man can legally marry 4 girls is holy in my books. It doesn’t get any holier than that.

Vatican is a country all it's own and it is totally owned and run by the Catholic Curch. Even the guards and army are run by and paid for by the Catholic Church and must obey it's rules.
May I ask what church or mosque owns and runs Saudi Arabia?

Having spent a few yrs in Saudi I can tell you there is not alot that is holy about Saudi Arabia... I think it is only the cities Mecca and Madima. Otherwise why would the kinds title be, King Fahad, Custodian of the Holy Mosques or Cities...
