When young, most of us read about Pakistani intelligence team fighting enemies of Islam around the world. At that time, that seemed like a world of fantasy with far-fetched ideas. However, with the recent events, it seems that that might actually be the case. With Britain giving knigthood to Salman Rushdie, and cartoons of the Prophet being published in the West, and recent talk about new version of Qur’an sufacing…these events at the very base appear to be flaming billions of Muslims around the world. If the West wants to convert people to Christianity, they should preach Christianity. No one is stopping them. However, the Muslim World needs to make it clear that an underhanded attempt to undermine another religion will not be tolerated. West’s hatred for Islam is being manifested through other ways as well. While Muslims are fighting Britain, America, or the Western Allies; the West, instead of fighting Al-Qaida and such organizations and countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq, appear to be fighting Muslims. The recent threat to attack the holy cities and holy sites appear to be a clear statement that they are fighting Muslims. So, the question now arises, who is fighting a Holy War…the West or the Muslim World?

With the recent threats against Islam and Muslims, I think there is a need to form an alliance with representatives from around the world whose sole purpose would be to assure future safety of Islam and Muslims from international threats.

to an extent yes there are elements within the western worls that is fighting islam, but at this point in time, they just need to sit back and chill while muslims are doing their work 4 them, they don't need to wage a holy war on muslims, the fanatics have already done so on their muslim brothers and sisters
