Since when did Saqlain start speaking this pharratedaar British-accented English.
I distinctly remember him using Wasim Akram as a translator during the presentation ceremony after a game against Australia (or NZ) back when he first arrived on the scene.
Ive heard Mushtaq Ahmed was always an entertaining player to have on the field, constantly cracking jokes and doing stuff to bring a smile on the face. I remember Moin Khan asking him to deliver a 'dheela' once and he smiles back and goes 'dheelay par watt na lag jaye yar' with a quirky smile.
Not that it matters, but thats really not a British accent, just a fake/forced one, and hes making tonnes of mistakes, but still, kudos to him for making the effort to learn English. He lives in england now, and is married to a Pakistani-Brit. His begum must have helped him out.
^Yep...no question his accent is fake...not to mention the liberal sprinkling of "You Know"s.
But like you said, the fact that he even got to this point is commendable.
