One os the most powerful arts is that of the motion picture, especially Hollywood cinema which dominates arts and entertainment worldwide. Question is, is it there to educate people or to titilate them with overexposure of sex and drugs mixed with violence? Perhaps it undermines traditional values in socities that had managed to respect women, but then Hollywood demeans them as those they are pieces of flesh to be consumed by evil vile perverted men. Islam and Arabs are constantly attacked in the violent films of Chuck Norris, Claude van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Sylvester Stalone. Why is there outrage to how Hollywood films portray Arabs in terrible ways and paint an untrue picture of life in the Middle East. The Jews have their Anti-Defamation League of B’Nai B’Rith and the Christians have their organizations to fight the image of Jews and Juedo-Christians. Then Hollwood uses pergotive terms like “Muslim Terrorists” or “Islamic Terrorism!” When did you hear words like “Jew Terrorists” or “Jewish Terrorism” or “Christian Terrorists” or “Christian Terrorism?” Before the State of Israel in 1948, Jews were labeled as terrorists when they blew up the King David Hotel and Hollwood glamourized them and said they were “Freedom Fighters!” Hollywood is owned and operated by whom? The arts have been perverted and used to exploit, rob, discriminate against, and paint those who are not Judeo-Christian western European. Remember, Eastern Europeans were depicted as clumsy mindless drooling Slavic people before the collapse of the Soviet Union, so now Arabs and Muslims are “Hollywood’s Whipping Boys!” No movie made in the Middle East has ever defamed the Prophet Jesus or even picture him, but there have been Hollwood movies about The Prophet Muhammad in which he is shown.
